In Episode 8 of Season 6 of the Comusik podcast, we share the work done by Scat:

SCAT We are a Bolivian company, led and made up of 75% women, working in the commercial, audiovisual, and communications sectors, with a strong social focus. We combine creativity and innovation and promote human rights through culture, under the slogan “Culture for All,” driving inclusive, integrative, and necessary projects for the country.

We have a professional sound studio equipped with Dolby Atmos technology (immersive 3D sound)—the first in La Paz—and extensive experience in audio and audiovisual production for film, television, social media, corporate, artistic, and advertising projects. We specialize in accessible adaptation of cultural content: closed captioning (CC) for people with hearing impairments, audio description (AUDESC) for people with visual impairments, subtitling in different languages, audio stories, audiobooks, and educational materials to promote reading, audiovisual production with sign language, and we always carry out our projects with a gender focus.

We have led more than 100 successful projects that have allowed us to understand the complexity and diversity of Bolivian realities. We firmly believe that, with information and a little encouragement, it is possible to transform lives—especially those of women, children, and young people—who, from vulnerable contexts, emerge as protagonists of change, creativity, and social mediation. SCAT is more than a company: it is a platform for cultural impact and transformative vision.

This podcast showcases the work being done by the SCAT production company and the SCAT collective, their own projects with a social focus.
